The Fanzine

The first issue of Johnny Cash-The Man in Black was published in December 1994 and received a positive response from fans and the music industry. Over the years the professionally produced A5 format fanzine has expanded to 28-pages and regularly features a colour cover. We have subscribers all over the world and this figure is expanding all the time. Over the years I have received help from many people who are associated with Johnny Cash including his manager Lou Robin and discographer John L. Smith who have always been there to help with various aspects of the fanzine. It has also given me the opportunity to meet and keep in regular contact with a host of other enthusiasts who share my passion for the music of Johnny Cash. The aim of the fanzine is to provide fans with current activities, specialist articles, interviews and reviews covering all aspects of his incredible career.

This website is not intended to replace the fanzine but is an additional source of information and a starting point for those wishing to subscribe.

On March 2007 we published our fiftieth issue and received many notes of congratulations and you can read some of them here.
